Wildlife Science and Conservation Center of Mongolia (WSCC) is a nonprofit organisation dedicated to preserving Mongolia’s wildlife and their habitat through research, conservation, and public education. WSCC was registered officially in 2004, is based in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and is one of Mongolia's premier wildlife conservation organisations.

Mission of the organization is to make a clear contribution into the understanding and preservation of national and regional wildlife species and their habitat resources through implementing science based conservation activities.

The extent of WSCC activities include research, education, and conservation of wildlife species and associated environmental problems.

The Center is closely involved in the conservation and scientific study of wildlife across the whole country of Mongolia and its dedicated team of experienced environmental professionals undertakes collaborative research with both Mongolian national and international organizations on a contractual and grant funded basis.

Our activities focus primarily on the conservation and research of endangered birds and mammal species, critical wildlife habitat, sustainable use of the environment and public education.

Examples of our works include projects on several globally and regionally endangered species such as Dalmatian Pelican, Swan Goose, Cinereous Vulture, Saker Falcon, Lesser Kestrel, White-naped Crane, Great Bustard, and Houbara Bustard several of which are Red List species In 2007 we also conducted a comprehensive ecological assessment of one of the two World Heritage sites in Mongolia - Orkhon Valley Cultural Heritage Site.
